The Croatian Studies Foundation and the Macquarie University Croatian Studies Centre is preparing a celebration to mark its 25th anniversary in Sydney 2009. Part of the celebrations include a project by the CHF: The Croatian Days for Children, Youth, Teachers and Parents which will involve:
· Language workshops · Drama workshop · Croatian culture and heritage workshop · Workshop for teachers
These interesting and useful workshops-plays groups are intended to offer students, teachers and parents new motivation to work and raise awareness of the Croatian language for second and third generation Croats and in that way, preserve our Croatian identity in the multi-cultural mosaic that forms Australian society.
The project will involve three Australian states (New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia) and five Croatian communities in all (Sydney, Wollongong, Melbourne, Geelong, Adelaide).
