State Office for Croats Abroad Scholarship Recipients Sign Agreements in Split

Temporary student ID cards were issued to the eighteen State Office for Croats Abroad scholarship recipients, most coming from South American countries, so that they can take advantage of the subsidised meals provided to students.

A formal ceremony was held on the 7th of March at the University of Split's Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at which agreements were signed for support/scholarships for Croatian language learning in the Republic of Croatia awarded to eighteen recipients of scholarships provided by the State Office for Croats Abroad, most from countries in South America.

Marija Matek, the head of the sector for legal status and status affaires of Croats abroad of the State Office for Croats Abroad, notified the scholarship recipients, participants of the Croatian language course in the summer semester of the 2016/17 academic year, of their obligations and the manner in which their temporary residence in the Republic of Croatia needs to be registered with the authorities, and informed them of the procedure for acquiring Croatian citizenship.

Temporary student ID cards were issued to the scholarship recipients so that they can take advantage of the subsidised meals provided to students.
