Jubilee Croatian Ethno Treasury event staged

projekti 240 v thumb163The evening of Thursday, July 2 of this year saw the close in Pučišće on the island of Brač of the tenth jubilee Croatian Ethno Treasury event, a workshop dedicated to traditional artisanal textile manufacture, and the manufacture and restoration of Croatian folk garb. The traditional open door day was staged that afternoon in the showpiece hall and terrace of the School of Stone Carving featuring an exhibition of the works of all attendees and demonstrators at this year"s workshop. New CHF director appointed

novosti 11893 sPursuant to articles 20 and 24 of the Statutes of the Croatian Heritage Foundation, the Board of Governors, at the proposal of Croatian Government, at its session of 13 July, appointed Marin Knezović MSc to the post of director. The decision came into effect on 16 July and Mr Knezović will be at the post for a four-year term. The current director Katarina Fuček has completed her term at the post, which she assumed on 16 July 2009.
